Bulli Hospital

The new Bulli Hospital Hospital was opened in 2020 and has provided excellent healthcare services to the local community.

In August 2021, the NSW Government announced it would refurbsh the Bulli Aged Care facility for rehabilitation and palliative care services. The work includes:
  • upgrades to improve fire services
  • additional outside/fresh air and internal air change rate improvements
  • installing a new plant
  • internal enhacement to hydraulic, electrical and ICT based services for health and general facility integration
  • minor upgrades to some external balconies
  • upgrades to provide a Day Rehabilitation Hospital.
It should be noted that the number of available beds (60) is not changing.

Construction should be completed in 2023.

Work hours
  • 7am - 6pm Monday to Friday
  • 8am - 1pm Saturday
  • No work on Sunday or Public Holidays.

There may be some requirements for out of hours work, but local residents will be notified if/when this occurs.

Parking
To minimise disruption to neighbours during construction, construction workers have been instructed not to park on Hospital Road. Adherence to this contractural requirement will be continually monitored.

Construction
Like any construction site, there will be some noise and dust, however we will make every effort to keep this to a minimum and finish the work as quickly as possible. If, and when required, traffic control staff will be onsite to direct traffic.

For all construction related enquiries, please call Hutchinsons Builders on 1300 HUTCHIES - 1300 488 244 37.

We thank you in advance for your patience and understanding. We will continue to keep you up to date on key project events as work progresses.
